Methods of investment available
• Direct investments: fully funded by the investor, according to the laws of the investment.
• Joint investments: locals (public or private) with a foreign investor in accordance with the Project Finance method.
• BOT investments.
The government has adopted programs with various tools to reform the structures of the economy and to correct and rationalize its economic and financial policies, in order to create an investment environment with an appropriate atmosphere for investment and to ensure the role of the private sector is provided with more involvement in the comprehensive development process. The development is significant. It is monitored by the investment indicators, in terms of both the number of projects and the expenditure of investments or the job opportunities. In addition, the effects of other indicators are also monitored, which emphasizes the pace of the Supreme Council’s investment, through its resolutions and recommendations, which have helped to significantly improve the current investment conditions, which cannot be viewed in isolation from the general course of economic growth in Syria.
